Mayoral Gala
Hilton Towers
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
February 6, 2004
Special Blendz performed at the Harrisburg Mayoral Gala to help kick off the Black History Month celebration. It was a very classy affair.
Two returning members of Special Blendz made their debut performances after taking some time off from the group: our drummer, William "Ronnell" Reed, after a year and a half off and vocalist, Kemp "Toppy" Hill, after seven years off. Welcome back, Fellas. You did a good job.
Special Blendz would like to thank Mayor Reed and the people of Harrisburg for a wonderful evening. We'd also like to say a special thank you to Frank Sirianni and his sound crew for making our job seem effortless; Larry Moore for inviting us to perform and taking good care of us 2 years in a row; and Louis "Fotomanlou" McKinney for spreading the word about Special Blendz in Harrisburg and for taking the fantastic pictures below.
